Sunday Worship at 11AM | 4967 Fincher Rd., Canton, GA 30114

It was with great anticipation, prayer, and expectation that the Sanctuary repair project began this week. Our partners at EM Jack began the project on Tuesday of this week and we are incredibly excited to share this update with you.

Before we dive too far into this update, we would like to say thank you! Thank you to each of you who have prayed for this project and for the church. Thank you to the men and women of the Building and Grounds committee who have continued to pursue God’s guidance for this project. Thank you to the deacon body who has continued to seek God’s courage and direction as we move forward as a church. Thank you to each of you who have given in support of God’s mission here at Shoal Creek. Thank you to every person who has or will play a role in the repair project and the future services in the church.

EM Jack began this week with the repair of the Sanctuary floor. Employees from the construction company expertly removed the previous joists and flooring and repaired with new joists and flooring. Once the repair has been completed, the flooring and raised platform will be ready for the next stage of the repair project.

We are incredibly excited to see the repair project continue. More updates will be provided over the next few weeks as major milestones in the project are accomplished.

We are asking each of you to partner with us as this project moves forward in several specific, important ways:

  • Pray that God would continue give wisdom to the Building and Grounds committee and the deacon body
  • Pray for EM Jack, their leaders and employees for safety and wisdom during the project
  • Seek God’s will for how He would have you partner to support His mission at Shoal Creek Baptist church
  • Pray for God’s favor for the next stages of the project

For any questions related to the project, please contact Kelly Hudson or Darrell Eubanks.
